On this day Bose announced the formation of the Provisional Government of Free India , Arzi Hakumat-e-Azad Hind, or, in brief, Azad Hind Government, an Indian government-in-exile. It began performing from Singapore with eleven ministers and eight representatives from the INA. At the event, the prime minister donned an INA cap and shared the stage with veterans of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose's army.
